Crisis

A crisis is an event that is going to lead to an unstable and dangerous situation affecting an individual, group, community, or whole society.

In other words, the plural of crisis is crises, and informal writing, when you have time to look it up and get it right, you should do that, but in a conversation, if you find yourself suddenly stuck for a foreign plural, "crisis" is a lot better than a wild and wrong guess, like "crisis."
